Review of Black Buffalo, Hobart
During my recent business trip, I had the pleasure of staying at Black Buffalo, which was chosen by my director. I was pleasantly surprised by the welcoming atmosphere and helpful staff. The lady at the bar during check-in was particularly friendly and made us feel right at home, even offering us a ticket to leave our car parked outside while we explored the area. The hotel is conveniently located within walking distance of the city center, making it easy to grab a bite or enjoy some local sights. The rooms were clean, spacious, and offered good value for the price. the proximity to the main road out to the airport was a huge advantage, making my departure seamless.
Uncomfortable bed, loud fire alarm.

Comforts of triple room were fabulous - an electronic key card, coffee/tea making facilities, and a flat-screen television. The location was marvellous and perfectly comfortable with particularly nice views. There was an attached restaurant nearby.
There was nothing I didn't like!

The rooms were spotless and large with comfortable bed. A work desk, a multi-channel TV, and ironing facilities worked well.
Their staff were a bit rude.

I had a pretty frustrating experience when I checked in. There was no microwave in the room, and the parking was a hassle since most spots were taken by restaurant customers.

The room itself was equally good, boasting a comfy bed that made it easy to unwind after a long day. the provided database offered a wealth of information about local attractions, enhancing my overall experience.
I did notice a minor issue with the room temperature control, which was slightly less responsive than expected.

the staff were friendly and helpful, especially the lady in the bar during check-in. we arrived early but were kindly given a ticket to park our car while we explored the area. the location was perfect for our needs, with easy access to the athletics track and plenty of cafes and restaurants just a short walk away. we were initially booked for a king suite but were upgraded to a triple suite, which was a pleasant surprise. the spacious room was also very clean.
All good! 😊.

For a convenient stay, check for parking availability before arriving, especially in the evening when the restaurant patrons occupy spots.

Great meals and a comfortable stay
I enjoyed a spacious Queen Suite with a large private bathroom and excellent amenities like a kettle and toaster, along with generous supplies of tea and biscuits. The restaurant meals were delicious, and I appreciated the daily replenishment of snacks. Checking in and out was straightforward, and I found the staff to be very helpful, especially when I needed information about local attractions. One thing I'd suggest is to add a hook in the bathroom for clothing-it would be a small touch that makes a big difference.

Wonderful Experience at Black Buffalo
I chose Black Buffalo specifically for its proximity to the forest, which made my visit convenient. To my delight, I discovered the complimentary wireless Internet access, which allowed me to share my adventures online effortlessly. The daily full breakfasts starting at 7:00 AM were an added bonus, offering a hearty start to my days of exploration.
Navigating the stairs to my room was a bit challenging due to my knee issues, as there are no elevators available.

The room was comfortable, and we loved the hot shower after long days exploring. A few minor quirks like the lack of lifts and some dated decor, but overall, it's a solid choice for a visit.

The location is perfect, just a short drive from the city center and surrounded by a variety of restaurants. Our room was clean, comfortable, and quiet, making for restful nights. The staff went above and beyond in returning an overlooked Apple Pencil, which showed their genuine care. My daughter loved the infinite biscuit hack and enjoyed being treated to fresh biscuits every day.
